W. Austin Gardner:

Well, I've been coming to you from Medellin, Colombia, and I have failed to mention to you what is probably most on my heart. There are so many places in the world that need the gospel. They're hungry to hear somebody preach the gospel to them. Medellin has several missionaries here, good men, I know I think I've met at least five or six good men, and I'm sure there's that many more. The Lord always has more than we know about, but the city of Medellin is two or three million people. They need hundreds of churches.

W. Austin Gardner:

The majority of people here today will die without ever hearing the gospel message of Jesus Christ. One time they will not hear that Jesus died for them, paid for their sins, and that simply by placing their faith and trust in him they can be saved. And yet you are in the United States of America, where they have heard and they reject and they mock. They've had their chance. And there's so many places around the world, not just Medellin, all of Colombia, not just Colombia. All of South America, all of Asia, all of Europe, all of Africa. So many places are in need of the gospel. And so I just want to stop and make a plea for you to lift your eyes to the harvest and I'd like to ask you a point blank question what are you doing to get the gospel to the world? How much are you praying that the name of Jesus will be raised and magnified and glorified around the world? How much are you praying for that? How much are you giving? What percentage of your income do you give?

W. Austin Gardner:

You know we say we love Jesus and we say we love his causes, but our talk and our walk don't line up so much. We know we ought to pray, and so we pray for the missionaries, but we don't pray for lost souls in places I've never heard Like we should. I know you do, but you could do more, we could do more. I know you give, but we could give more and some of us ought to go. We ought to just say to God I'm willing to be whatever you want me to be and I'm willing to go wherever you want me to go and I will take the gospel message of Jesus Christ around the world. So I come to you in less than three minutes to say please pray for Medellin Colombia, Medellin, Colombia. They know what it is to have drugs and terrorism. They know what it is to have sin and death. They need light and love and truth, and you can bring that to them by the gospel of Jesus Christ.
